Designer Bill Chen established Meet Tyrone clothing in late 2002. After graduating from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 2002, Bill began work in visual effects. His work in this creative field naturally lends its ingenious style to fashion. And so the label began as an in-house design project using t-shirts as the medium to deliver graphic art to a larger audience.

The response was instant and the 'Meet Tyrone' clothing brand has grown with great success, now being stocked in boutiques all over Australia. He has also built up quite a following within Sydney's young art community. Bill uses his passion for art to craft original works across any medium and has showcased his artwork in galleries around Sydney including a group art exhibition at Blank Space in Surry Hills. A small capsule range, of guy’s and girl’s t-shirts, was released for Summer 05/06. The ‘Pisces’ design from this range was worn by Cate Blanchett in the Australian feature film Little Fish.

Frolic with Musos and Fairy Folk’ is Meet Tyrone clothing’s first official collection, for Winter 07. The aim is to continue to combine amazing graphics and fine materials in a medium we can all enjoy.
